A lot of people ask me what’s happening in the Central Florida real estate market. So today I’ll go over the state of the market.

In February, 2,303 homes were available for sale in the Central Florida market. There were 3,686 new listings and 3,198 closed sales. The average home price was $400,232 and the average days on market was 30 days. Interest rates have a big effect on buying and selling right now. The average rate for a 30-year, fixed-rate loan is 4.6% for conventional mortgages and 4.25% for FHA mortgages.
